Developed in partnership between the Armenian General Benevolent Union’s Armenian Virtual College (AVC) and My Armenia, a program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Smithsonian Institution, this interactive guide is meant to inspire travelers to visit Armenia’s stunning province of Vayots Dzor and deepen the experience of tourists in the destination by providing rich interpretation of the region’s natural and cultural assets, and providing valuable travel planning information.

Available in seven languages, the e-book covers the history and geography of the region, with interactive maps, slide shows, videos, 360 views and audio descriptions offering a range of information on local cuisine, architecture, archeology, festivals, cultural events and adventure trips. Trip planning is made easy with listings of area hotels and restaurants, and the essential Armenian phrasebook.
