Massis Armen Bahador was, until recently, one of many Armenian artists delegated to obscurity. He is an unknown figure in both Armenia and the Diaspora. 

A Diasporan-Armenian, and a survivor of the Armenian genocide, he was educated in Europe and the United States, where he made his living as a dentist and painted for pleasure.
